What began in 1901 as a maximum-security prison is now one of Haarlem’s most unique venues for work and events. Thanks to the vision of Jacqueline van de Sande and the design by André van Stigt, De Koepel reopened in 2022 as a place where education, culture, and entrepreneurship come together.

Inside this iconic building, Cupola XS is the go-to place for work and networking. We manage the 85 office units and coworking spaces where entrepreneurs and professionals build their businesses every day. We also host events that bring together up to 300 people for conferences and presentations.

As soon as you walk in, you can feel it right away. The scale, the light, and the history make a lasting impression. This isn’t your typical office environment—it’s a place where energy flows and people love to gather.

De Koepel is a national monument from 1901, set on green grounds close to the centre of Haarlem. Inside the building you will find restaurants, the Filmkoepel cinema and hotel Metzlr House, so lunch, drinks or a film are never far away. Step outside and you are a short walk from the Grote Markt, the Teylers Museum and Molen De Adriaan on the river Spaarne. The station is a 5-minute bike ride away, and from there Amsterdam and the beach at Zandvoort are within easy reach.
